Shipping Policy (Egypt)

1. Customs & Duties

All shipments entering Egypt are subject to customs clearance.

Shipments valued below USD 2,000 usually go through informal clearance (faster, fewer documents).

Shipments valued USD 2,000 or more require formal clearance with additional documents (e.g., Certificate of Origin, Form 4, etc.).

Import duties are calculated on a CIF basis (Cost + Insurance + Freight).

Value Added Tax (VAT) of 14% applies on all imports.

Typical customs duty rates:

Electronics (phones, computers): 0–5%

Fashion, cosmetics, home appliances: 10–30%

Watches: 20%

Books & gifts: ≈5%

2. Required Documents

For personal shipments: Air Waybill (AWB) + Commercial Invoice.

For business shipments: Additional documents may be required:

Certificate of Origin (COO) legalized, or EUR-1 (if EU origin).

Packing List.

Form 4 (issued by bank in Egypt).

Advance Cargo Information (ACI) registration via Nafeza portal.

Every shipment must obtain an ACID (Advance Cargo Information Declaration) number before departure (at least 48 hours in advance).

3. Shipping Timeframes

Domestic Delivery (inside Egypt): 2–7 business days depending on city/region.

International Delivery (into Egypt): 7–21 business days, depending on customs clearance speed.

Delays may occur due to customs inspections or public holidays (weekends in Egypt are Friday & Saturday).

4. Shipping Providers

We work with trusted logistics partners such as DHL, Aramex, FedEx, and Egypt Post to ensure reliable delivery and tracking.
Tracking numbers are provided once your order is dispatched.

5. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

Local delivery within Egypt may be free above a certain order value (e.g., EGP X).

For international shipments, customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, and any additional clearance charges upon arrival.

6. Returns & Refunds

Customers in Egypt may return products within 14 days of delivery in compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a company error (wrong or defective item).

7. Notes for Customers

Please ensure all shipping information is entered correctly.
